Furniture
Use Humanform to size a chair, a stool, or the clearance around a seat. The measurements below are the ones the app groups for furniture: seated heights, seat depth, hip breadth, and the space under and in front of the seat.
Design Fit can load the Office seating template: sitting height, sitting elbow height, popliteal height, thigh thickness, and sitting hip breadth. The ergonomics calculator Seating context covers chairs, stools, and seating furniture.

humanform-cli predict PoplitealHeight --country UK --gender everyone --percentile 5 humanform-cli predict ButtockPoplitealLength --country UK --gender everyone --percentile 5 humanform-cli predict SittingHipBreadth --country UK --gender everyone --percentile 95
The 5th percentile is the small end of a range. The 95th percentile is the large end. For a seat height, designers often start from a low popliteal height. For a seat width, they often start from a high sitting hip breadth. Confirm that choice for the product.
Solve a chair-sized list. This requires Humanform Pro. accommodate returns limits. It does not certify a standard.
humanform-cli accommodate \ --measurement PoplitealHeight \ --measurement ButtockPoplitealLength \ --measurement SittingHipBreadth \ --measurement SittingElbowHeight \ --country DE --gender everyone --age-min 18 --age-max 70 --target 90
To test a chair you have already drawn, pass your own limits to fit:
humanform-cli fit \ --limit PoplitealHeight,<lower>,<upper> \ --limit SittingHipBreadth,<lower>,<upper> \ --country DE --gender everyone --age-min 18 --age-max 70

Use Humanform for an office chair for adults in Germany, ages 18 to 70, gender everyone. Accommodate PoplitealHeight, ButtockPoplitealLength, SittingHipBreadth, and SittingElbowHeight at target 90. Then predict SittingHeight at the 50th and 95th percentiles for the same population. Say these are population estimates, not a standards certificate.
