# Predictions stay on your device

A prediction uses the measurement, country, gender, age, and percentile you set in the app. Humanform calculates it on the device. Nothing is sent to a Humanform server to produce the number.

> A shared link on share.humanform.app describes that same population prediction. It is not a personal measurement and it is not a saved Vault entry.

On a Mac, the `humanform-cli` command and the MCP server run locally and use the same on-device grids. If you connect an agent app such as Cursor or Claude, that app may send tool results to its own cloud. Humanform does not.
