# Personas

A persona is a reusable subject: a name, a gender, a country, and an age. Use one when the same person-description should drive Explore or a group.

You can also paste a short description and let the app fill gender, country, and age when it recognizes them. You still confirm the fields before saving.

## Groups

A group mixes several personas with weights, for a market or a user mix rather than one subject. A persona needs its required fields before it can join a group or drive a prediction. Names must be unique.

Personas are stored on the device and can sync with your private iCloud database on iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Vision Pro. Humanform does not keep a separate copy. See [Privacy](https://docs.humanform.app/privacy).
