# Industries

Humanform is a population reference for people who size products. These pages collect the measurements, in-app tools, command-line examples, and MCP prompts for five uses: [workspaces](https://docs.humanform.app/industries/workspaces), [furniture](https://docs.humanform.app/industries/furniture), [automotive](https://docs.humanform.app/industries/automotive), [clothing](https://docs.humanform.app/industries/clothing), and [medical](https://docs.humanform.app/industries/medical).

A prediction is a population estimate. You choose the country, gender, age, and percentile. The measurement is calculated on the device. Names and catalog ids are on [Measurements](https://docs.humanform.app/measurements). Country codes are on [Countries](https://docs.humanform.app/countries).

## Presets

Four presets package a short measurement list. Pass the id to `accommodate` on the [command line](https://docs.humanform.app/cli) or in [MCP](https://docs.humanform.app/mcp).

| Preset id | App name | Industry |
| --- | --- | --- |
| `workstation` | Seated workstation | [Workspaces](https://docs.humanform.app/industries/workspaces) |
| `standingReach` | Standing reach | [Workspaces](https://docs.humanform.app/industries/workspaces) |
| `cockpit` | Seated reach | [Automotive](https://docs.humanform.app/industries/automotive) |
| `apparel` | Apparel grade | [Clothing](https://docs.humanform.app/industries/clothing) |

`accommodate`, `fit`, and `population` require [Humanform Pro](https://docs.humanform.app/pro). A preset is a Humanform measurement set. It is not a certificate that a design meets a named standard.

`fit` compares your design limits with the population. The lower and upper numbers are the limits of the product, in millimetres. Humanform does not supply those limits.
