# Design Fit

Design Fit answers a joint question: what share of people satisfy every limit you set, at the same time. One row is one measurement with an optional minimum and an optional maximum, in the unit you are using. A blank side means no limit on that side.

It is a [Humanform Pro](https://docs.humanform.app/pro) tool. The same idea is available as `fit` on the [command line](https://docs.humanform.app/cli) and in [MCP](https://docs.humanform.app/mcp).

## Templates

Office seating, Cockpit fit, and Reach envelope preload a common set of measurements. Applying a template replaces the current constraint list. See [Industries](https://docs.humanform.app/industries) for how those sets are used, and for command-line and MCP examples.

## Reading the result

The main percentage is the estimated share that fits every active constraint together. Each row shows how much that constraint excludes on its own. Invalid ranges block the result until you fix them.

## Auto Fit

Auto Fit solves minimum and maximum limits to hit a target overall fit percentage. Review the suggested changes before applying them. If that would overwrite limits you already set, the app asks first. After you apply, Undo restores the previous limits.

Presets are Humanform measurement sets. They are not a certificate that a design meets a named standard.
